Hey! Know you missed us, but were back! Ha, you guys probably forgot all about the Girls in Wigs, I know we sure did. Now, first off. We want to make sure that you guys know what we have planned for this site now. We are going to change it completely. Sure, the awkward fifth grade posts were great and hilarious, fyi we aren't deleting them, but we want to go in a different direction with the new and improved Girls in Wigs. This blog will no longer be a "look what's going in the fifth grade world" blog, but a "hip and get with the program" kind of thing. We will be posting more pictures and more often. This site will focus on hip things to make, do, and enjoy. So, let's see how it goes! Here's to the new and improved Girls in Wigs!

Just checking in

So. how is everyone's summer going? I know most of you guys are going to camp so I hope you have fun there! Wherever you are going, even if it just your home, I hope you have a wonderful time with it. Although I love summer, I miss all of you guys so much! It is so hard not to see my friends.I don't know how I am going to do it for another two months, or ever more time we have in summer.  I miss you so much!

I can't believe it!

Do you guys realize that there are only 2 and a half more days of school left? I still remember the first day of fifth grade and I can't believe that it is over! It has been a great year with all of you guys! Although I can't wait until summer, I am so upset to be leaving all of my friends for 2 months. I hope you guys have had a great year like I have. I can't not wait until we start over again in sixth grade, but I will probably  be saying the same thing next year. Hope everyone has a great summer!!!!!!!

camping

last weekend i went camping. we went for two nights. on the the second day we went exploring off the trail. we were finding a spot to cross the river when i stepped on a lump. i looked and said "oh my gosh, i just stepped on a snake!" sure enough, it was a copperhead. it was the biggest snake that i have ever seen in the wild.
