Why don't you interview some interesting Memphians and post what you learn. You could interview Mr. Kwande about his new headmaster job, one of the 6th grade teachers about what 5th graders should expect for next year, Miss Eason about her experiences playing ball for Memphis, etc. You could even do a series of interviews about "When I was a 6th Grader." Ask grown-ups to recall their 6th grade year -- where they were, what they did, what was cool at the time, etc. Could be very funny.
